Denise Arpels created MCM in 1989. From the outset she was at the helm of the company and acquired business through the clothing industry, most notably, Jac Tissot, BRP Rextrek and Van Gills.
Having successfully established the business and secured long term clients, Denise in 1993 drove the company into new areas of credit management collecting for companies outside of the clothing industry.
In 1997 Denise became the chair of MCM when Daniel Arpels FICM joined the company and with the wealth of new business acquired from this restructure, Denise began to make strategic implementations to the core business leading to a move and expansion of the company in 1998.
Denise was instrumental in the creation of the International Collection Department of MCM when it was launched in 2000 and has since helped stabalise the company and re-brand .
